16's anyday mate i know my wheels probably aren't your style cos you want keskins but mine are 17 and i think they look just big enough for the car. 16's defo mate and drop it about 70mm easily they sit like jeeps stock 9n's!!

I forgot to mention mine is 17's and dropped by 50mm hence why i said it needs dropping at least 70mm on 16's depends what sort of look your going for though, i don't think the looks come naturally from 9N's from owning one for 2 years it defo needs some form of kit on it to make it look the nuts its that rounded back end really that doesn't do it justice! side profiles and diagonal profiles are nice but that back end needs debadging smoothing and a decent rear skirt/bumper with some twins poking out of it

16" for me any way thats what I have recently put on to my car see it in the gallery search unser ritchat I feel that this size is best done to ride quality cost of tyres and road noise from the tyres going to 17" I believe that you would have to have 205/40*17 which has little give especially if you hit a pothole . I am running on 205/45*16 continentals andthey are able to deal so far with thenumerous bloody potholes we have up north. hope this helps sandy,

Having driven on both 16s and 17s with coilovers wound right down i'd say go with 16s as for me 17s made the car feel too up right and skinny (ie didnt feel at all stable!). And the 17s i had on were 17x8.5 up front and 17x9.5 out back

Surely 16's look a little on the small side not saying big is everything but its a bigger car then you think and them arches take some bloody filling even if the rims are tucked right into the arches. you got a picture of the 16's on coils mate i'd love to see it i'm obssessed with 9Ns cos no one seems to do them up and when you see one its special!!!

I must admit i did love the look it had on the 17s but they were totally rediculous to drive on and the tyres were....well i think stretched doesnt quite cover it

Actually need to get some new pics as its now got a cat back exhaust and a set of TT seats in it :-)

Man those 17's were SO much pimper....back half of the car looked spot on in the last picture...it's not a performance car so you should live with the stilt-y feeling and rocked the silver ones. Arch work ftw.

Says he who DESPISES stretched tyres

The 9.5s had 225/35/17s on them

Well fit wider tyres...still the best wheels that car has ever seen.
