Hi there,

Got my MK1 Polo project and it really needs a new front panel, well at least the lower part and I'm wondering what is the best/proper way or the way you have fitted yours.

We all know they are spot welded on and its fairly easy to get them off, i was wondering is it considered the done thing to drill holes in the new panel and plug weld them.

I want the car to be the best that i can possibly make it and i intend to keep it for a good long while as my sunny day/show/kids away for the weekend car.

Any advice would be most appreciated.
