Love it! 8-) Only thing that's wrong IMO is the rear lights, they just look out of place.

Thanks for all the comments guys, have plans for some of the things mentioned already but mostly staying how it is.

Never been one to do things for other people, everything i've done is because i like it and its the way i wanted it so its obviously not going to be to everyones taste but would'nt it be boring if we all liked the same stuff!! :-)

Having owned the car since 2000 :-o its had its fair share of looks.

Below are some of the pics i have from back in the day. The lenso's were in 2001 and the WRD's in 2002/3.

I'm sorting a load of progress/ bodyshop pics as well to be posted later

Not to say it didn't look good back then! Love it in that last photo.

Easi Ash

The car looks stunning mate keep up the good work.

Just a quick question is that a 1.6 8v engine in there you had before the conversion?

If so what size is your air filter as I've got the same engine in my golf and i cant seem to find the rightsize air filter to put on just like you have?

Much appreciated

AshV.

Ash you already know what I think of your car... "its an amazing and absolutely stunning car", imo has to best uk mk4 polo.

top job mate, all the work that was involved has paid off and I am sure you have a few more mods planned for 2008.

has gone through some pretty serious changes in its lifetime! must have had some serious money spent on it aswell considering you've owned it since 2000!

Great work, everything looks perfect .

this is the best mk4 by far that I've ever had the pleasure of seein.. I've got so much respect for this car. really changed through the past 7 years from a standard 1.0. if i had some spare cash around it would b on ashes table right now with ashes & his girlfriends arms up behind there backs.. lol.

u so got to see it in the flesh to understand how good it really is.. deserved place at edition this year for sure. u face was amazin when u got that phone call ash... lol.

paintwork is amazing n had the pleasure of tellin the painter.

just the dash to do in leather then...... 450bhp mayb. ;)

well done for stickin to what u like ash n not joinin us sheep!!!!! baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar

love you.. :p

I love this car and the various stages it's been through.

Top notch work and massive respect for sticking with it.

When I saw it at ED 38 it had clearly been taken onto a whole new level.

2 things that I'd change:

1) Black rear badge- lose it.

2) Go Lower!

I know what you mean mate. The tailgate has been on the car for five years when a fully smoothed tailgate was sooo in. I lost interest in the tailgate and was going to start again but feel the badge just breaks it up a bit and is slightly different.

After next year i may change the rear end.

I really want it lower but it scrapes getting in and out of my garage at the moment so i'm looking to move (seriously) to somewhere with a lower drive so it can go lower.
