Just noticed the rear arches, they are pretty sweet.

Has the rear bumper been extended? i.e made longer and closer to the floor?

Yes mate the rear bumper has been made about an inch or so lower as well as over an inch wider each side to meet the arches.

Its nice to see some people notice the more subtle changes

i'd say so, no other polo has the all round attributes that this car has, that dutch twin turbo 20v comes close i reckon but not quite!
