Saw this up close at Ultimate dubs last year. Saw that you dont run a headunit. Have you just got the bare minimum wiring inside the car because it can no where near match up witht the 1.8t loom? Also who did you get to make your loom up? Cause I've been told your talking nearly 1k jus for the engine loom!

ash doesnt run a headunit as car is soooo fooking loud n sounds sooo sweet it dont need one!! lol.

if u take a look inside the car u will see that ash is runnin S3 clocks and I'm sure ash will confirm this but think it runs a standard S3 loom.

To answer a couple of q's. The car runs full Audi engine management and loom, everything works as it would in the S3. No headunit as its just not fitted and as dave said you'd need quite a system to hear it anyway

It achieves around 30 mpg if driven sensibly (which is hard) but with a bit of encouragement at bruntingthorpe was approaching single figures.

As for costs, it is getting slightly cheaper and easier with the likes of qpeng looms etc but expect to pay 5K - 12K for a drive in drive out depending on spec and what you supply etc.
