Why is it always people that listen to shit music that have a problem with Rock and Metal?

I've got about 300 CDs and probably 200 of them are rock/punk/etc... But a 100 of them are Hip Hop/Drum & Bass/Classical/Big Beat/Pop or whatever...

Have a bit more of an open mind - yeah there's shit music in any genre out there but equally there's stuff worth listening to in all styles as well.

I'm mostly into heavyish rock/metal but will listen to anything really, hate how people label an artist due to the genre they fall into without even listening to them

Loving pendulum atm, and have a ton of String quartet tribute albums - the atreyu one is very good

bands I listen to the most are probably avenged sevenfold (older stuff mostly), trivium, in flames, atreyu, stone sour and tons more I won't bore you with

but in the car tend to go for more mellow stuff like feeder, 3 doors down, the ataris, afi (older stuff) and when in the mood for some bass the DnB comes out :)

Granted Dave Mustayne would of braught the band forward to a more thrashy sound but still kurt is a awsome lead guitarists with awsome partnership of james hetfield creating some epic albums to never forget !

Driving though ... MEGADEATH! Rust in Peace album ... Now thats something to blast out of the car ..

Pendulem and things like that have just got old and boring .. Prodigy ect .. Iff you want to listen to heavy drumm and base'y tunes then listen to some DJ Hype ect ..

People like Children Of Bodem , Pantera , Disturbed , Machine Head ..

Now there what will really get you driving like a mad man .. Iff music has that effect on you .. To be honest though i would rather drive to atmospheric music chilled out music ..

This guy knows his stuff, except the emo stuff and trivium. machine head and megadeth make me a very agressive driver, especially a song like imperium or seasons wither. Love follow the reaper album by children of bodom too, amazing!
