mate i live right in the middle of speed hump central and with it being a council estate the roads are way past fucked, but i love my car being that low and the attention it gives, even if that attention is me getting stuck on a speed hump and having to rip my tires apart trying to drive off it backwards of it, ask any body that was rolling with me at the polo show

so if u need 2 go on a long journey how do u get ther??? drivin sumit that low with the shitty roads here must be near impossible what if you are on the motorway and u got 2 stop for petrol. but they got those black and yellow speed bumps....(which most of them have).....how u guna get in ther???

if you can manage to go at an angle over the bumps, as long as one wheel is always on the bump you're sorted innit!

People always just assume theres no speed bumps near you if your car is really low. Not realising some people aren't bothered about things like that and will just drag there car over things and fix it when dragging it breaks it.

People who winge about there drives being to steep are the worst. Mines steep as fook but I used to drag my car over it all the time.

so thats the technique for gettin over those small bumps. "just take a run up and clench!" the other great 1 is (only do this in heavy traffic tho, can be pointless otherwise) go as slow as poss, i usually go for about 1/2 - 1mph, even if i know i can mke it over. i hate people sitting up my arse, so wen it gets to a bump, i teach them for sitting that close to my lil polo! grrrrrrrr tailgateing pet hate of the week!

I'll vouch for you!!! The polo was bad enough when i was trying to drive it round near yours! Damn ramp every 5 metres! Theres even man hole covers low enough to bath in! lol. My exhaust system is about dead through speedramps and general bumps (thanks Devon!), the road round billing aquadrome didnt help!

Works 99% of the time! got myself stuck on one and just thought "fuck it" and listened to the banging and scraping as i drove off it again! Find it funny more than anything now.

^^^mate i actually made a lad that was walking on the path jump jump about 2 foot in the air once when i came round a corner and smashed the polo off a speed hump. was so fucking funny even his misses was pissing herself :lol:

how often do you check the underside of your car, you know, just check its still there?

Low enough....for some of the roads round here, doubt I'd be able to get to work if I was any lower than the 50mm I'm at now
