Lets face it most of the cars people are complaining about here are little more than marketing gimmicks or fashion accessories. Fact is a hell of a lot of people pretty much don't even consider performance or handling when buying a car. Car companies make these cars because there is a demand for them. People who are well into clothes probably get annoyed by people like me who put little or no thought into what clothes I buy as long as they fit and keep me warm! Same thing really...

we have one of those around here, they bought a defender 90 td5 thats shinier than a very shiny thing thats been polished by shiny shiners, and they bought it to take their dog to....... a carpark at the end of a .........tarmac road!!!

A 4x4's not a 4x4 unless you have no qualms at all about driving it through the odd gorse hedge - shiney isn't what they're built for.
