if u paint you are indicator bulbs green then apparently through the red tint they flash orange again....

Not much to update apart from new euro plates. I'm going to get a quote for getting my arches rolled and a bit of bodywork tomorrow evening.

I picked my car up from the bodyshop last night after getting the arches rolled and wound the coilies down and put the rsl's back on. Much happier with the stance now needs some more tweaking though ;)

Now I'm just saving up for a respray. Also booked it in to have a full engine rebuild with headwork etc :)

Mmm, tasty.

If only my mk1 looked like this! I like the fact that you still have the arch trims on, so many people ditch them.

Oh and are you heading to the GTI festival on the 13th?

Forgot about this thread..It's come along really nicely.

You keeping the grey strips on? Looks good without I reckon

respray?

why? looks mint

love it, its immense

leave the stripes i say, old skool!

8-)

Cheers guys :-D

Yeh ill be at spring fest on the sovag stand.

The paint really isnt great its probably just the camera making it look better than it is

Please don't take the strips off or the badges it looks so much better with them on, it looks nice and original but with subtle mods that suit it perfectly as it is now

love it

golf looks proper rude on the rsls, agreed on leaving the badges and side strips/arches on, its keeping in heritage with the original gti with some subtle new school mods

That is by far the tidiest mk1 I've ever seen, keep the stripes though, i just wish the nice insurance people would insure me on one cos id have 1 rite now!! dont suppose u would be willing to part with your p slot centre caps would you?????????
