yeah i started on the inlet manifold last summer but got board will prob start again in the summer just to cold at the moment! goose had a good idea about my rocker cover that i might try... i could also do some relocating and stuff like that... but really want to sort the engine problems!!! lol

all I am saying is it gets annoying reading loads of posts that are nothing to do with the meet!

I look in the meet section for info on meets not general chat!

the one we started back last summer flopped... ther was like a 6month gap...

tbo i think most of this thread is just general chat... has info on the meet and we help organise the meet from here...

most people see this thread which is good probily cant be bothered to see through most of the pages but they get the jist once the date is posted in the title (aimed at scott lol)

and it gets advertised on alot of other sites too...

To be fair, nearly every successful meet thread i have read has been mostly made up of banter and chit-chat and general keeping up with mates that you won't necasserily see for a while.

take me, I don't see any of 'em for a month at a time, I don't want to cut myself off from them, and i hate msn, If it weren't for this thread, scott wouldn't be getting a 3rd brakelight diffuser, Matt wouldn't have a clue where to begin on his exhaust manifold and I wouldn't know what to do with my mirrors. That's 3 threads we haven't wasted just off the top of my head, when alot of people are starting to whine about the server capacity.

If anyone wants to know specifics and doesn't want the whole story, they ask, and they get informed. ask and ye shall recieve.

What that textured stuff like a chip preventer that goes on the door frames, usually feels like fine sand paper?

What about a homestore, they often have vinyl stuff like that for covering haggard furniture, Don't know how much or how likely it is to work though.

Thinking of trying to make it look like there's no door frame from profile view?

Oh, I have also decided that i'm going to colour code my mirrors all the way to the baseplates. It still makes me chuckle why when 5 years ago people were paying a premium for colour coded mirrors and all i want to do is make them black again!

basically you need the speaker supports behind the door card. so id need to get those and gti door cards. but why get gti door cards when its just a case of cutting a 17cm hole in mine? :) the speakers and supports should be here monday along with other stuff...
