To be honest, that DVLA site doesn't give much more away than any insurance company when you put your number plate in and it comes back with your car details. All it's got extra is when the car was first registered and when it's tax is due and cost of it.

No offence to anyone but dragon green cars are not to my liking.

That DVLA sites well cool! Though the amount of info given out is a bit scary. But if someones got your registration plate then they already know everything they need to. And you can't hide your plates whilst its parked can you? And you need a plate number to be able to search that.
