Hi

I have just bought a 1.4 8v polo 3 dr in the dark green i fancied a change of mods to euro style from my usual clios, i have plans to lower it on coilovers basically as low as possible. I want the whole euro look but i am struggling so much with what wheels to go for. I have just bought some second hand speedline wheels for cheap as a temporary fix if need be(pics below), but until i get some more money this is what will be on the car, i want to refurb them but i am not sure what colour to do. I have had this idea which i am not so certain on to do them an ivory colour like on the mk5 golf on the front of this months redline magazine if anyones seen it but I'm not sure if that would just look awful or just to polish the lip and spray the wheels a really bright silver!!

Please help any ideas would be much appreciated as its driving me mad and any pics would be great

not the same wheels but i went for the colour coded option myself, the wheels and paint only cost me £50 so a bit of a result either way, hope this helps (if i can get the pic on)

oh yer and if you want pics of them on the car i think i have a few about

yer i got them off a guy on here at edition, then halfords for the paint then sprayed them myself, not a perfect finish but for £50

yes please that would be good, they are really good for 50 look well nice mate. I paid 95 for them i still don't think thats too bad. Pics would be cool though

BTW does anyone know anything about these wheels all i know is that they are speedlines and 14" lol, i am definetely thinking about colour coding the centre now i really like the BBS's shown. Also what tyres are best for stretching onto these size wise!!

That looks really really nice, i really like that but i just cant imagine it with my 5 spokes if you know what i mean but its a good bit of inspiration thanks mate i love the front lights where are they from. Also what lights have you got on the rear.

yer its hard to picture something unless its exact, but hope it helped a little bit, the front lights are from ebay, theres loads on there, wiring is a bit of a bitch though lol, and i've got the mk5 all red rear lights on,

glad you liked them, literally only just put most of the stuff on the car over xmas, get some pics of you are car up, I'm intrigued now :-)

yes they look really nice actually. I'm stuck between doing them anthricite colour or just polishing the whole wheel which is my latest idea, or do a mixture and polish the lip and do the centres anthricite.!!

you say you're having trouble picturing it on your five spokes, check out the gallery theres a guy who has a progress thread called dunn IIRC he has wheels kinda similar to yours cc'd in dragon green, they look ace
