IN-CAR PC and Touchscreen

Featured Replies

Not 100% Sure about selling this but if i get the price I'm asking i'll let it go!

The PC itself is a Sumicom 630 (xenarc clone), it has a footprint of around 2 cd cases, so pretty small.

Spec is as follows:

COMPUTER - £190

Cpu P4 2.4 ghz Socket 478.

1gb DDR ram.

120gb 3.5" HD

Built in GFX,Sound,LAN and Firewire.

Slimline Laptop DVD/CD Burner

The system is boxed and ready to go, it comes with a Bluetooth dongle and a mini USB mouse and mini usb-keyboard and 4port hub, this thing is TINY! and fits into a MK4 polo glove box without worry (obviously you'll need holes in the back for the wiring)

SCREEN - £180

The world famous! K90 USB Motorised Touchscreen VGA screen (single din), mint cond, This is better than other makes as I'm told it has metal gears which last much longer than others!

CARNETIX 19v Power Supply + connector plug : £80

This is EVERYTHING you need to get a fully working in-car pc setup, I am selling it for less than what it cost me!!

I will install a fresh copy of "XP Bullit" (cut down, fast loading version of XP) on there and also setup "RoadRunner" Will supply ALL the drivers and CDs and instructions Needed

ideally i'll sell it all together in one go, so £450 :crybaby:

any questions just ask :)

Chris

BUMP !!

Intrested in the comp mate, but firstly want to know if i can still use a standard PSU to power up the board and components? and connect the PSU to a DC - AC Invertor. So basically my set up would be: DC - AC Invertor -- Standard Comp PSU -- To Motherboard. Will i be able to do this??

Cheers

Does anyone know if this is still for sale??

Cheers

Yep no reason why not as its just a shuttle style board

I'm sure there are some dissadvantages but cant rememeber them.

polo_dude, it comes with proper in-car power supply, why would you want to use it with an inverter ?

It also comes with a mains adaptor so you can plug it in at home or with an inverter if you wish..
