Can't think of any F1 drivers called Stig, but there is always the legendary swede Stig Blomqvist - he is probably THE most entertaining driver to watch ever!

Yeah Ben Collins sounds likely, he was a formula 4 driver and did the European Touring Car races I think. Who else has experience in driving fast saloons and giving formula 1 drivers a big can of whoop ass on the Top Gear track.

talking of the Stig.. and Ben Collins.. I was just watching the 8pm on Dave and it was the Aygo's football match and taking part was Ben Collins! and Russ Swift.. and a few other talented lads.

in other words that w s the testing to see if the stigs they chose woudl be upto the job.. weve all probably seen th the stigs face we just dont no it

But obviously he doesn't do all of it, some of the manufacturers/car owners are funny about letting people drive their cars.

The stig has no national identity: The stig cannot be created or destroyed, but merely changed from one form to another. As he never began (and hence will never end), he can't have been born anywhere. This is why he needs no passport (but he did need an oyster card)!

It was almost as good as the year I bought him a Page 3 calendar because he'd taken a shine to Miss July.

Haven't got a picture of it, but I bought it from Sports World, or Sports Soccer, or whatever they call themselves these days.

Sorry but if I had the money for £500k car, I reckon I could probably drive it comfortably round a circuit and scream "POWER!" Some of them are computered up so much its unlikely you'll prang it unless your a total numpty. Like the guy who wrote a Bugatti off, he needs gelding...
