Mk1 golf struts and hubs would be perfect because you can modify the top bolt hole on the shockie and have adjustable camber! I looked into that myself but the car was a daily driver and I never got the time to do anything like that.

hey i hav both a mk1 golf and a mk3 polo and got loads of spares for both am really interested in the hole mk1 golf coilover conversoin can any one give a more detailed description of how to do this or even better some piks? iv gone wel over 110mm on mine bought 80mm spring need i must of cut about 30 mm off them had it on the bump stops need everthing need i just cant get it low enough lol WOULDNT ADVISE TO ANY ONE TO CUT THE SPRINGS AS ITS DANGEROUS. many thanks gaz
