Well!

After the main bearing going in my gearbox i had to have a brand spanker fitted, running fine so was a worth while investment!

BUT

Before getting the gear box done me and my dad was driving down to the workshops to get the gear box fitted, dad was behind me in the Mk 3, i went to pull away from the lights and all of a sudden someone ran across right in front of me, slammed my brakes on.... dad didnt do as quick as me.... subsequently wacked into the back of the polo!

First 5 seconds i forget he was my dad... went absolutly mad at him! Damage to the bumper, cracked etc... offside rear arch has a slight crack in the painwork, boot has chips from the flying class, and the rear slam panel is slightly bent...

All in all the car could be written off by the insurers as the damage could outway the cost of the SHELL, not the car.

Bad times :( Just got to wait and see now and see what happends!

Going through the insurance because its the easiest thing to do, my insuarnce wont be involved as Tesco have said they will deal with the whole thing which is great!

It all came about when that air ride went for sale on here man, i was going to borrow money off my girlfreind to buy the air ride....

Kinda knocked it into me that I've gone enough with the polo now... started doing my home work and looking at A4's and Golf Mk 4's, the spec of car i could get from the money i could potentially make would be crazy to miss, so just carrying on with the car just wouldnt be viable!
