Ye.. the plan of sticking with Polos has kinda changed, going to hopefully view something special on Friday, still Dub mind you :D

Also - £2000 WITHOUT wheels for the car now and it comes with 6 months Tax. I really would rather sell the car as a whole, if not i shall let you knwo if I'm going to break it!

Cheers for the PMs tho!

Dave - One in white thankyou please

I think I need to sell the interior as a whole guys, unless someone buys the seats then someone else buys the doorcards theres no way id split! Looking for about £1400 for the interior OVNO.

Boot has a latest offer of £250

EVERYTHING will be for sale IF it gets broken, I've got to call the assessor on Monday to 'discuss' the options!

I've also seen a nice Blue Bora on Edition38 and a Polo GTI with Jabba sport gear and running over 300bhp, so I'm kinda itching now... I really want to try and stay in the Polo family :D

Simmy - Thats 'oup norf' i live slap bang in brap brap london land where prices are silly and the jobs they do are even sillyer!

tomo87 polo gti??

2k Is a serious bargain!

Yep, 2k would buy you an MJ interior brand new

Nah not getting a Polo now, its a dub I've been wanting to do for ages with tidy looks and big power!

Heres some pics of the damage! :( The main damage on the bumper I've pictured, simple plastic weld and respray and itll be fine, the rear require the slam panel to be pulled back out OR cut out and a new one welded in (£85 from vag) New bumper rail needed and thats it! Theres a slight crack on the nearside rear arch but barely noticable!

whats the new car looking to be then mate?? something golf maybe??

this poor polo, spent most of its time in pieces or without bumpers and now its happened again lol

How much do you think the rear will cost all together to repair, as the guy who posted in your thread is seriously interested a slong as the cars not ridiculous to repair :)

Under standable needs a rear sub frame, but the bumper and rear tailgate :)

Thanks Luke

Sean, loking at a car on the 14t of august but for now I'm hopefully going to get a mk 2 Golf runaround, seen one in auto trader for dirt cheap!

O and... SOLD :(

someones got a bargain!

tooo cheap for a car with that much effort put into it.

  • Author

It was a realistic value, not a sentimental one guys!

what gets me its never seen all that cost in damage!

whap a bumper iron on there plus pumper itself and its back t normal!

what gives??

  • Author

Yep your right i could do that...

But i wouldnt be happy, i never will be happy with the polo, itll never be at the point i want it to be at... Well it would be but I'm not chucking more money into it

I'm too fussy and too pickey thats my problem!:D

you should have fixed those issues and sold on! hope you got a decent wedge for it seems a shame to have spent so much dude!

whats this 300bhp beauty u speak of on facebook link me up ??? :p

poundie,,thats precisely why mine went,,id have never been happy with it no matter how much i spent or how much i bought,,best bet is to save money and move onto bigger and better,,i was pretty gutted when mine went but when you start looking at newer better motors and realise financially youll still be better off, it makes a lot more sence.
