Well after selling the Polo i obviously bought an Ibiza Cupra

I wasnt crying... Honestly!

Had a quick trial fit of my 15' RS's, way to low and the front wasnt even wound all the way down so i had to sell them

Sooooo, i bought the Cupra for a tidy price, 69,000miles on the clock which is pretty low from what others I've seen, but as everyone knows not everything goes right all of the time, turned out this needed a bit of work to bring it back up to standard...

Started with a good old wash, when i wash my cars i do every nook and cranny... Obviously this hasnt been done for a while...

Since I've owned it I've:

Changed the sump 3 times

Changed ALL wheel bearings

Snapped and replaced a reinforced clutch pedal

Fitted new brake lines

New CV joint and boot

FULL service by Volkspares

O and tidyed up the car with muppet jobs like this done it...

And...... Bought a little present to get the ball rolling, Got some guy called Rayvern fitting the kit as we speak, dont know if anyones ever heard of him? Weird bloke?

What made you go for a Rayvern kit bud?

Lookin into air ride this 'n' that myself , and I saw a recent thread saying that Bagyard or Voodoo was the way to go.

Just for his reputation, and his knowledge, the guy will never wash his hands of a job, once youve got one of his kits he'll always be there to help you out! Seriously one of the nicest blokes I've ever met, the kit is quality, i cant complain about it to be honest!

But thats just me personally I'm sure othersd wouldnt agree

full service - check

they're all the same. Guessing you've also done the usual

Re-fitted boost pipes

and most probably

Changed coil packs

Boost pipes suprisingly haven't popped yet I'm waiting, just like i waited for the pedal to go and it did... miles from my bloody house :(

O and I'm eating through tyres like there going out of fashion... I just cant resist the squeel from the tarmac when the boost kids in and the woosh from the dump valve... makes me giggle like a little girl

I've got a Chrome Manifold on the way and the air ride is done and dusted :)Rayvern Hydraulics i cant reccomend them enough, Uncle Ray is a top guy, gave me so much advice and answered any and every question i had, superb service, couldnt be any happier with the install

Ray had washed the car for me but still ended up like this after a 300 round mile trip

my clutch pedal went in rush hour traffic on one of the major routes into the city centre, just before the bridge. I had the police stop the traffic for me whilst i pushed the car across the 3 lanes. Also had some pikeys offer me £50 for it as I was struggling pushing it!

The pedal had been re-inforced by stealth racing, but it still failed, so now it's been re-inforced by hoopty tech garages and seems to be holding out well :)

The squeal from tyres in 3rd just as it gets grip is class, usually the clocks read about 60mph when you're neck and neck with a BMW and you just take off :) followed by a tish from the dump valve and the boost chattering back through the filter.

guessing your cupra's a 5 speed, i've not driven a 20v with a 5 speed box before, guessing your 5th will be similar to my 6th. I can still out accelerate those fiesta ST's off boost in 6th @ 60/70mph, the torque's just so much fun! I can get over 100mph in 4th, daren't think what it'll pull in 6th :p

Few months of saving went by, managed to get a spare front bumper, had some bits smoothed and C/C'd

Also sourced Sam's old Mk 3 interior, thought it would be something different in a silver car, bit marmite if it worked or not.

These are the last pics i took before i done a deal on the Loop'o

Just one more :p

Now on to the new one, its going to go up for sale when I've decided wether to break it or sell it as whole. Lovely to drive and loads of fun but juist isnt me!

Well after the mayhem of them being damaged by the 'courier' etc... then my new dish's coming to me scratched etc... etc... check my blogs for the whole story!

Finally my bbs's are made up, done them myself and i think theyve turned out pretty nice, slowly convincing myself to get pureklas to chrome them...

But for now there do, getting the tyres put on this week (touch wood) and then into the bootishop

They fit perfectly which i was worried about, glad i didnt go any wider.
