Lookin forward to seeing this done.

However, a question I'm sure you've answered so many times you have it on copy and paste ready to put in to the next reply

Why is it taking so long to have it all done and running, I'm guessing your paying them in bits and bobs and sending out parts when you can afford or something?

Keep up the good work though!

I think its because the 20vt is so challenging to put into something that wasnt made for it. All sorts of problems can come up and it just adds more time, such as the pedal hes just mentioned, they then had to alter the bracket. To put it into perspective (sp?) a little bit, Dubsport did mine (20vt into a 6n) and conversions is basically what they are/were about. But because of all the problems with this conversion, it took them about 6 weeks iirc

uwww looking good mate, coming on at last!

Whats that battery box out of, i need one and no way am i spending 70/80 for a vibroglass one!

not sure... mate it was only about 25 quid or something. from something motor sport... ill find out for u.

jay..

no I've not paid a penny for anything yet... its there 1st polo 20v conversion so its a learning curve for them...there is alot of effot gone into this conversion.. for example... because i want to run the car low they have raised the engine as high as they can so i have ground clearence... this ment the chassie leg had to be modded etc..it would of taken half of the time if i would of had qpeng loom and ecu fitted but cos i want to run full factory managment SO EVERYTHING WORKS. its take alot longer.

the 1st 3-4 months of the conversion was waiting for parts and other stuff... just cos things where hard to get hold of at an afordable price...

but it will be all worth it in long run

so whats wrong with the qpeng looms then fella as i was going to use one for my conversion?

looking really good tho mate, id love my car to be like this!
