Halfords/Halfrauds

Featured Replies

I work for halfords ( the one in the picture actually), Many reasons why you get some shite staff as listed before, and the same in any other retailer, the advantage of working for them is you get discounts but also you can rumage for bargins as well that have been forgot about. BTW anyone after an air filter for polo coupe (Champion w102) £1.99 at the mo

I work for Halfords too. Quite a few people here seem to lol.

very impressed with the halfords paint mixing, managed to match my car perfectly, i know it's on a database, but it still is perfect, very good quality tools aswell

I'm a duty manager/key holder

for the Coventry store, we have all together 5 dubbers working there one is converted from ford as i sold him my mk2 golf and he loves it.

the tools is a great point they are spot on as well as a lifetime guarantee.

i think some of the Stuff sold is a bit pricey but i warn you this is being looked into.

if you go to a good store you will go back or if you go to a bad one pm with the store and the people you deal with .

also the parts availible is rather good if the parts guys have there heads screwed on.

wierdly enough i sold my polo to a guy that now works at halfords, and theres another dubber in there to lol

that's the farnborough store

i suppose it's like anywhere you go, if its good you'll go back, if not then they lose your custom

GSF is very much like that, the kingston one is awesome, the farnham one is alright sometimes, but when you ask for a mk2 ibiza radiator and they give you a mk3 golf one, you have to ask questions lol

Is like all shops if service or knowlidge is bad then you give up and go else where but if its good and you can get on with the staff as well as service you go back.

gsf thats a total different story thou

the one in oxford is full of idiots. haven't got a bloody clue.

Totally agree, tops for paint, OK the custom matched stuff is £11 a tin but it's always excellent. Their off the shelf range is also great and they have the best nozzles out of all the airarseholes available.

staff ranges from fucking muppets to absolute car genius's.

not sure where in the scale i fall.

same as anywere though, you build a company or store on part time labour n pay us fuck all n what dio you expect ?

luck of the draw, completely.
