my lupo gti 20vt

Featured Replies

Looks sick what a street sleeper. I remeber seeing a thread a while ago with a foreign guy putting either 2 20vt in a lupo or it may have been 2 vr6 engines... anyone ever see that finished?

Christ on a bike!

NICE work matey! What are the stats on that little beasty?

tut, doesnt look like you have changed the brakes, oh dear, and on standard suspension? christ? good job on doing it yourself though bet it flies, just get them brakes on, oh and you will need some 16 inch or bigger rims on for them mahoosive brakes to fit over

very sexy sleeper you got there any future plans for the looks?

thanks for al the replys gonna get sum coilovers shortly then sum wheels just not sure on size ether 15" or 16" cant decide thanks again

i would say get some banded steels get them banded inwards as far as possible to make them more subtle and more sleeper but so they dont rub the struts and maybe only a small wdith on the outside! i think taht could look great mate. good luck with it anyway. :D:thumbsup:

what turbo and map are you running?

Read the thread....

If it had black hoses and an OE looking filter it'd be super stealth!

engine seems to sit so perfectly in it. Love the stelf look!

Superb conversion mate, well done.

Love the sleeper look too, its very subtle.

I can't see why it'd need massive brakes on it? The Lupo ain't gonna weigh much, so probably with decent pads and braided hoses it'll be ok on the OE system, at least for road use.

Bloody love it!

What's the difference between this engine and the GTI engine? Did you need new mounts/gearbox/driveshafts? Kind of tempted to do the same conversion myself.

its a 1.8 20v, whereas the gti engines a 1.6 16v

oh and a bigass turbo

This looks like a great conversion.

Well done for doing it under your own steam.
