my mate cookie spent 8 hours cleaning his engine bay, think it was about 2 hours per wheel arch, 4 hours underneath and generally about 4 hours on the rest so all in about 20 hours total give or take on his saxo vts.... he won the show n shine at french nationals last year mind n its a daily ragged car! washes it like 3 times a week though

I think this guy took the phase 'i could cum over that' a bit too literally

i think this guy is WELL over the top. i mean meausring paint depths. why not just stop at it looking shiny. its gonna get SHIT all over it as soon as he drives it 1 meter

Would be funny as fuck tho, if when he drove it outa the garage a bird shat on it or he sneezed on it whilst wiping it down

saw that thread on a vauxhall forum when i had my old corsa, bit mental really lol

Theres a well funny piss take with a jacket

It is very clean but for the amount of time and money he must have spent I think its a bit of a waste.

Its not as clean and as deep but its still a respectable finish and for what its worth in a couple of days it'll start to get dirty again anyway.

its just asking to be keyed

not thelupo , the vrx i mean lol

All that time effort and money......................

.......................and its still a vauxhall.

hahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahahahahah*breath* hahahah

proof you can polish a turd...but underneath....he still knows its a vauxhall lol

Jesus me, now that is what I call hardcore cleaning. Could you really be bothered? I just wax the 9n3 with Meguires Gold Class and get a brill reflection

this vxr has really pissed me off lol . its not a proper car, cos when u start being that anal about stuff like that you are gonna end up traliorin it to shows...

thats not what a car is ment for

i dont get it the car is brand new? what a waste of time and how utterly boring. i thought my girlfriend used to have a hard time imagine if he has one!!

Am fed up with BRICK.....

Excitement or what? He should have paid attention to the torque steer first

The owner runs a car detailing business. The VXR was intended as a showcase for his work, and is used to drive to clients.

I mean, if you hired a professional detailer to clean your Jag or whatever you wouldn't expect him to rock up in a dirty car!

haha

give him his due he puts the work in

but I could never be assed to do that to any of my cars, nor pay someone to do it.

Steveeeee is the first person to reply with anything remotely sensible. Good comment mate.

Of course all the usual badge snobs have come out the woodwork about it being a Vauxhall and so on. Who gives a fuck whether its a Vauxhall or not? :? I wonder if it had been a VAG car if the replies would of been the same? I doubt it.

Of course its hardly practical having a car this clean (and keeping it this clean) for everyday use. However as a showcase for his work it is the ultimate.

If he wants to put the time and money into it to acheive what he has, then good on him. Its all been done for a good reason - his business.

If he were to frequent this site he'd probably laugh his arse off at most of the cars on here. Slammed Polo's with silly width wheels and stretched tyres ain't exactly sensible, yet the majority on here think its fantastic.

Rant over

the fact i saw this many months ago and its bein passed around forums surely means the money spent on publicity for his business has paid off!! :)
