1996 Polo Open Air 1.4 cl 5 - door

i bought the car in december from a friend of the family who runs a well respected vag specialist. the car has had the same owner for around the past 6 years and has been serviced at my friends garage for this time. the car is orignally from hawco vw edinbrugh. previous owner to me was a doctor who used the car for motorway use everyweek to edinbrugh and back. the car drives amazingly well and everything works as it should.i am very picky with cars and this car has not dissapointed me. the reason i wish to sell is that i really want to buy an older vag car again.i change my cars a lot and this is my 6th car and i wash it and clean it regularly.

the mileage is 115k but this is mostly motorway miles. i've just had the car valeted and the tracking done and i fixed the heater vents etc and spruced up the bay etc. the car is away this week to get the bump strips removed and to be debadged and a few other tasteful things added such as clear indicators etc. the roof is perfect and doesn't leak.

the car has a comprehensive service history but i left it at the vag specialist but i checked it over and the car is a1.

however the car is 11 years old so it does have 1 or 2 wee blemishes but all the panels are straight and it has 2 stone chips. even my enthusiast friends are very impressed by how rattle free the interior is and how well the car drives and the way it looks.

its has a private plate which comes with the car.

i really love the car but i can't ignore the fact i want a mk2 gti or something similar again.

car will be missed and is in vgc

i bought it for 800 but this was with a serious discount and the car is worth more than 800 and I've spent a fair bit on it

decent suspension and wheels and a the wee blemishes fixed and all red rear lights would make this a v nice car

it's flat white so cheaper to paint as well....will be getting a quote to perfect the paint this week also

if i don't get the right offer i will keep the car
