Your campers great! I love it, and the pinstriping a few posts down.

Christ don't blow smoke up his arse we'll never hear the end of it :shock:

might be the lowest T4 in wales (one in bristol running on the bumpstops on 20" with 30 profile tyres)

an moi hahahaha . the welsh are invading . about bloody time lol

I see loads of T4s doing BMX as they're the perfect weekend warrior. This is my mate Kev's daily 2.5tdi. I must confess, I do follow T4 forums quite a bit and there is a shocking number of vans on huge rims with no drop...it pains me!

my brother has an ex aa t4... gonna be modding it this year, lowering kit and wheels will be on order soon, they can shift for what they are!

have the ex aa vans got any extras in terms of engine mods compared to normal t4's? i heard a rumour they have been chipped/remapped?

Yeh they run about 140 brake, and a ridiculous amount of torque for towing absolutely everything!

AA vans are normally only chipped to 114bhp as TD silver Is are 102bhp (blue I are 88 non ic'd)

there is a long running thread on the VWT4Forum called project power where 2 blokes have taken an 88 and 102 up to an easy 155bhp just like the red I availible in germany (150 standard)

one bloke on the old t4 forum from sweden was running 300+bhp off a 2.5 TDI standard block, lets just say the rest was not standard!!!!!

should cost me around £800 to take my 88 to 155 and it should have better fuel economy appart from my heavy right foot and me demolishing all the g40s in the process

I'm off to read that thread right now ................. my 2.4di 88bhp aint fast but will pull your house down.

Nice art GiorgioGT. That looks like a damn cool project. Me and an ex always dreamed on getting a van and putting a bed in the back.... go for it!! How about putting side facing seats in, I mean if the landrovers can do it certainly its legal with belts on each seat?

Ooooh ... let me see ... well there's HTT , Retro-Rides , Airdiction , Edition 38 , Club Lupo and this place that immediately spring too mind ;)

Hello Frauds :-D

I've seen one thats got a Porsche boxster engine at the rear wheels :p

Basically, go and have it MOT'd to cover your arse. Then just tell the insurance it's got that many seats.

I'm not sure about lowering mine,as i have the air-assisted bit to think about.maybe it is still possible? looks like there could be a few about at shows this year!?

edit: i swapped my policy from a caddy van to my t4. The insurance company wouldn't insure mine even though it has vw factory fitted rear seats, so we had to change company.strange!
