VW cute Stuby Aerial

Featured Replies

Evening all....

Right I'm selling these aerials (see pictures below, and the "youtube" video link of the quality of the reception in a friends Audi A3).

They sit flush onto the base, without the lips saging over liek the common ugly Honda s2000 ones.

Reception is fine on the cars I have tested, but all had either standard stereo's, or aerial boosters. So I would recommend an aerial booster

Any whoo... if you'd like one, or a few, email me your details and I post them out recorded next day delivery, £15 delivered

Thanks for looking

Haroon

cheers Mahbs blad

They are the exact same ones, VW OEM Sharan (although the Sharan has an internal aerial!)

mine are cheaper, and delivered around the next day or so!

I can confirm reception is the same as normal also don't forget that the 6n and perhaps 6n2 has an aerial amplifier/booster fitted just before the aerial lead enters the stereo this allowed VW to use thinner cable in the roof lining.

If you're not sure what I mean here's a pic:

Aerial lead plugs into the above which in turn plugs into the stereo. The blue lead can be attached to the amp turn on lead or electric aerial feed off the stereo's ISO lead so will become active only when the stereo is in use.

I paid £18 for a replica Sharan one which this one looks like alot. Apparently the OEM has the wrong size thread for my 6N2.

Any left still?

Random fitment question, the aerial on my corrado looks identical to the standard ones pictured (i.e. curly wire ones) any idea if the stumpy will fit?

Should do pal.
