not sure if it turned out better than before or not!! i wanted to make my car be the only bit of colour in the picture, apart from the sky, It looks shit though :crybaby:

and then i wanted it to look a bit mean, so i put most of the colour into the middle of the photo

What am i doing wrong?

i thought it was quite a good location

its not about the location its the composition. to me the polo is badly situated in the frame. thats why i cropped the second one down.

the car is front on down on the bonnet and shows no form of the car. a worms eye view usually looks good looking up at the front or a slight side 3/4 view would have been better with the wheels turned. composition NOT location, although location helps...

ha ha. fair enough but you get the point. i remember it as far back as when i did gcse art and the teacher would always say ' arrange the fruit in the bowl into a nice composition'

hahaha lmao and the fruit was never real just plastic

see ste's car here. see how much better the composition is??

what i do is look around the car and look at certain objects that might go well with the car/look good in the pic then all you do is move the cam about to get the perfect angle that in itself can make the car look better in its location! i really need an SLR :-(

Whats SLR stand for?

its a great photo location.
