looks tidy, would probably need a bit more colour coding to make it work in the dash tho, but not just scattered all over the place, maybe just some of the over bits around that on the center of the dash?

yeah I'm gonna have a look in the morning what else i can do without it looking tacky, gonna take a pic and photoshop afew parts to give me a general idea

agree with the mouse, kind reminds me of the new interior on the corsa...standing out and all that

it has a kinda has i-pod feel about it, would be cool to have white interior with white leather seats, oh i might steel that idea...

I'm looking to get a white scirocco pref. a scala model as a project car, would look different

well I'm thinking of doing something with the seats in summer :p so thats where the white plays its part haha

maybe you could have a theme going up the center of the dash, like white up the middle where all the controls are and the rest of it black? if new cars can get away with it can't see why older ones can't if done right.

just try not to just paint random shit as that would just look tacky tbh.

hmmmm id have to see it on the dash tbh, looks nice there and looks like you ahve done a good job and just not sure its gonna go well against the black/grey dash :?

Paint the whole dash. Smooth though, get all the texture of it.

i would love to do that! been seriously thinking about it, but i dont think it would look good all white, think black with white bits, i duno :S

If you made a huge deal about it being white and black, throughout the car I think you could pull it off.

hmm I'm undecided

i think it will look cool with alitle bit more black/whiteness going on :p

ill get a pic tonight of it when its lit up red :-)

Yeah get soem more white. The little white notches on the heater controls compliment it :)

maybe you could take the stereo surrond off and paint that white aswell?

  • Author

oooo good thinkin i quite like that idea :p

With taking the face of the stereo on and off you are bound to scratch it and make it tatty in no time. Unless you are very careful. I was going to say it looked gash but i kind of like it. White and black work where as other colours on the dash can look terrible!! :-)

yeah i know what you mean mate, well the car is red, but there way no way i wanted red bits in there because that does look tacky imo

Looks a bit out of place at the moment, need some more white colour coding on the centre console somewhere. You have the same headunit as me 8-)

How about you colour code the other buttons on the dashboard and the air vents?

I really like it. Looks like the new Apple iDash...

how about paint the gray bit of the dash black, and that black center bit white just leaving the vents, buttons and head unit surround black to break it up a bit? it might look a bit ott now but if you were getting black and white leather would look ace imo.

I think it looks pretty cool but agree, you need some more white to compliment it!

Something simple would be to pop off the head unit surround and spray that. Would add just a little more white.

Maybe get some white dials etc.

got white dials :p

gonna have a gander at what else can be done hehe

i like that.....i-dash.

Nice contrast, you need some more white going on though. Dont go over the top.

Little bits are all it will need to finish it off, take that as the big centre piece to build around.

you can see mine a bit in that picture, plan to colour code the whole dash eventually, got a replacement kit so dash glows orange instead of the standard colour.
