I know someone who got a 16v as his 1st car and bought 8v bumpers and rear lights for it about 3 years ago.

His name is Peebo on here i think. He also stripped the interior and had a deck chair as the passenger seat. Classic.

my mates got a phase one 106 xsi.. but has got a phase 2 gti engien running bout 150 brake... because its the stripped otuand so on the power to weight ration is immesne... people jsut think its a 106 but then when were killing m3s and skylines... haha puts a smile on hsi face anyway

Seen alot of that round here too. I try to tell them its only an 8v but they dont understand, they just think VTR's are the greatest cars ever made. Why anyone would buy one I dont know

we were following a 106xsi in a clio trophy the other day and it literally blitzed us through the twisties, waited until he pulled in then spoke to him.....found out it was a gti engine with throttle bodies on.wow that shifted!! :-D

i overtook some cock in a saxo VTR the other day pretty fast on the motorway when we came off the motorway he followed me well close to my bumper for a bit
