I've got GT badge on the back of my g40, well i did before i changed the boot to the smoothed one. Am changing back though so rock on the badges!

Think ill get me a 1.3. badge though to be a bit more precise!

1.0L badge would be funny as fook on a 1.6 or valver !! some chav just asks u could say one of those chips off ebay , u fitted it and its made loads of difference !!! lol :biggrin:

i dont even see the point of badging up a car as something worse?

whats the point in tryin to prove to some1 in a 1.2 corsa or whatever that an apparent 1.0L polo will absolutely cane em...theres no real achievement in that is there

I put the GT badges, GT steels and wheel trims on my G40, the easiest way to down badge without loosing the originality or performance.

What it does is make the local chavies, BMW 318 drivers and middle lane hoggers think they'll simply hoon past you, thats when the fun begins.

the best thing about my GT is when people think it will be slow because its a 1.3

i have always wanted to under badge mine i.e mine = 1.6 put 1.0 badges on .

funnyest thing i seen is a 1.0l saxo going around with a gti badge on the grill..

at first i thaught it was a joke, but as he went past i saw he had it on the back aswell :)

best thing is jus to make a sleeper, like near me was a couple of like corsa conversions like 2.2l or something...

but in a standard 1.0l an nothing had been changed.

my mates got a phase one 106 xsi.. but has got a phase 2 gti engien running bout 150 brake... because its the stripped otuand so on the power to weight ration is immesne... people jsut think its a 106 but then when were killing m3s and skylines... haha puts a smile on hsi face anyway

allthough i did have a mate who had a 106 gti running on throttle bodies at around 200 brake before nos

went to york and it ended up in the class with the scoobys and lets just say a few scoobys got shown up.

but i hardly thing a 150 brake 106 will smoke a m3 i mean a g40 running 150 brake is gonna be fast but not m3 fast

i know someone with a nova with a 300brake engine in the front badged up as a 1.4, its proper funny! looks standard apart from semi slicks on the fronts. Absolute beast!

i beat a 1.8 16v focus by 5 cars lengths in my old 1.3mh engine and i know for a fact i can pretty much keep up with a 2L over quarter mile, used to race loads of focus's so a GT should quite easily beat a 2L focus,

i reckon so anyway
