on the bbs rs wheels, what size are the tyres and are they stretched? if so could you give me the measurements so i could put strecthed tyres on mine cheers

its onscmidt modern lines. the rs's had a 195/45 tyre stretched on an 8 inch rim

they only rub at the rear under hard cornering.

i do have et34's on the front with a 5mm spacer so its an et19 on the front really

unfortunately i have an early fk colil over kit for it so they don't go any lower, and if they did i wouldn't be able to take anyone in the back.

but another coil-over kit is in the pipe line and maybe different wheels.

I've got fk's on my 9n3 gti, mine was sitting exactly the same when i 1st put mine on...if the take the adjuster rings out u will get another inch or so! thats what I've done and mine doesnt scuff at all, even with a full load!

Love the front bumper by the way...I'm seriously considering smoothing mine! With the plate where the number plate is mounted....is it the same as the mk5 gti golfs where it unscrews and comes away from the bumper or will it have to be removed then smoothed?

yeah i had to have a stuff plastic welded it and then smoothed over.
