i was having full on e-mail conversations with him asking him to call me when he has the cash as i will 'store' the car for him.

it went on for about a week which is when i to sent all the details to the police....

he stopped after that

I have had ythe same thing happen to me i was selling my moped on pistonheads and some guy asked to buy it for three grand although i was only askin for 650 anyway i heard nothin for two weeks and then today i recieved a check. apparently i am meant to just take 650 and give the rest to a shipper. if this guy sends you anything look out for middleton towers (company name) and if it was posted or hand delivered as he said he would post mine but i know it was hand delievered as it has no post office mark anyways just thought i would let you know stay clear lol!!!

Bit off topic but I've got some c**t from nigeria trying to scam me on ebay at the moment, he hacked into some American guys account and bought the phone. Ebay removed the phone informing me of this, and this guys keeps emailing me saying send it to Nigeria, give us a tracking no and the funds will clear into your paypal account....yea right!

It's a shame to think that some people actually fall for this shit, cos the emails they have sent me look quite realistic. Like mentioned above their English is soo poor!! They sent me one recently threatening "Legal Auction" not Legal Action the dumb fucks!

I've sent all the emails to ebay and paypal but there not really doing anything about it, I'm in two minds as to whether or not to send them on to the police or not
