I got my windows tinted by Cappucino Tints, they had some pimped out sprinter full of TV'S and everything.

Their number plate was: T1NTS

I think that used to be on a mk4 golf with dodgey half chrome half black wave tints, was a tinting company too.

Saw a estate agents van today with H0 USE (or similar)

might look ok... but at the end of the day is always something cooler to spend your money on..... ( then again i guess thats the attraction, that people think you have money to burn so must be minted)

Its a pain when you transfer the plates when changing the car, but the main benifit is that you still own the details, not the car. That way, if the new owner gets flashed etc. you don't get the grief.

Case in point - mate of mine sold his Astra with 9 mths tax - the car ended up in South London, but was still registered in my mates name. Over the following 9 moths he was in and out of the cop shop in Luton average twice a week to obtain a written statement confirming he no longer owned that car and was not responsible for the speeding / running red light offence for which he had received notice.

He had to do this for every offence as the DVLA could not update the system as they did not have new owner details. Only stopped when the tax ran out!

On the paper trail side of things, mate sold the car to a garage, who sold it at auction for cash to a buyer who provided false details. If you have a private plate and transfer if off at point of sale, the car will be sold with its original identity and the new owner will have to put the proper plates on (seeing as you've removed your own plates when you p/x!)

Hope that explains the other benifit - aside from the pose factor!!!
