Arch gaps

What rear coilys have you used mate?

The ones PhilJ sells :) Not sure what make they are (i stuck them on the car straight away :p) but they use 60mm springs and are zinc plated (no rust!). They do a very good impression of solid metal bars!

I think they're actually meant for a mk1 golf but they bolted straight on with some washers on the bottom :)

did u use the helper springs or take em out?

Nope no helper springs.... they wouldn't be any use anyway as the suspension is wound right up.

Been driving around all afternoon on the coilies with 175/65s and it feels absolutely perfect, just how I want it for everyday driving. Even on the really bumpy back roads where I live there's no crashiness. I dont see how anyone could think it was dangerous! :-) It is bumpier with the 175s on but still nowhere near dangerous.

I'm amazed at the arch gaps people are running on here! GOOD WORK!

Running 50 profiles driving over bumps fast scrapes tyres against the arch cos the ofsets low and profiles just a bit too big.

Yeah I took loads of snaps of it at Polo Show, really liked it. Dr Pepper is a little different...so misunderstood!
