God damn nakamichi!

Hi there,

my mate has a nakamichi cd-400 headunit in his lupo... it was running in his car untill he took it out to sort out the memory loss problem (reset evertime car was turnt off) since then it wont work in his car! It works in my astra no problem. I was told that maybe getting an ariel adapter would help due to somtimes they work as an earth on different cars but still no joy.

There is power to it as when the engine is running and headlights are on (dont ask me why) it flickers on and off... I have the connector and the vw part of the wiring is still totally standard (no cuts or anything).

Also his beta headunit runs absolutly fine in the car... wierd ay?

Has anyone got an idea on what it could be?
