urgent help needed spacers for atiew's with golf calipers

hey i have golf gti brakes and calipers and tried fitting my atiwes on and the calipers hit the inside of the rim. (mk3 polo)

does anyone know if an 8mm spacer is sufficient to clear the calipers?

as they dont make 10mm ones for a mk2 golf setup. and 15mm ones would make the wheel stick out too far i think. thanks
