Loved this car when it was on the teledials... But when the last owner was selling it he mentioned to me that it had a few problems with it, obviously he didnt look after it. All it needs is some TLC again....

Which its getting! Already done and oil and air filer changed. Will be cleaning all the arches etc out this weekend to get all that shitty salt out!

i saw it on sunday looked good in my eyes, only thing was in need of a clean but so was every other car there, the roads were rubbish driving down and the weather wasnt good !

in my eyes danny is the new owner if hes happy thats all that counts !!

i know Dave (test richie) he would never have let them seats get to an unsafe level, dont forget it was owned by someone else before you and after dave so surely that person is responsable for checking the safety of them. if you knew they were dangerous then a) why did you buy the car and b) keep driving it like it. so stop bitching at other peoples work and get on with a retrim to make them look like they are meant to belong in that car.

look mate i aint bitching about anyone's work! I bought the car because it had the modifcations which I dont have the time or money to do! I only drove the car for a week with the tt seats because I got it on a sunday and had to wait for the following weekend because the porsche seats take the best part of a day to put it. I am saving up my pennies now for my next investment. If you stop "bitching" about other people bitching maybe this thread wouldnt get out of hand

You will get critism cos it had nothing wrong with it the way it was and back in its day it was a spot on polo, but now your putting your stamp on it and hopefully will make it better!

Its the same with me and buying Fluxco's old car, i had my fun with it but couldnt NOT do what i want to it.... and have now spent the past 12 months fucking a perfectly good polo up. Shit happends!
