When posting pictures, accept that not everyone's going to respond in a positive manner. There's a big difference between being defensive and agressive in your replies. Do not take it as a personal insult just because someone does not like your car.

Who cares what everyone else thinks, if you like it then thats cool. At the end of the day a car is there too please yourself and not others. If people dont like my polo, do i care? I'm the one who has to drive it!

i know Dave (test richie) he would never have let them seats get to an unsafe level, dont forget it was owned by someone else before you and after dave so surely that person is responsable for checking the safety of them. if you knew they were dangerous then a) why did you buy the car and b) keep driving it like it. so stop bitching at other peoples work and get on with a retrim to make them look like they are meant to belong in that car.

look mate i aint bitching about anyone's work! I bought the car because it had the modifcations which I dont have the time or money to do! I only drove the car for a week with the tt seats because I got it on a sunday and had to wait for the following weekend because the porsche seats take the best part of a day to put it. I am saving up my pennies now for my next investment. If you stop "bitching" about other people bitching maybe this thread wouldnt get out of hand

This thread adds to the long list of reasons why I am reluctant to become a club member again. Admittedly this is the ONLY Polo forum worth visiting, but over the last year or so, this forum has become full of opinionated people who think they know everything.

It seems a lot of people are putting blame on previous owners of this car without knowing the price it was sold for and the apparent problems which were inevitably explained to the buyer.

I personally think you have done a good job with the seats danny_dub. From what I remember test_richie didn't turn his car in to a show car over night, and neither should you be expected to. What danny_dub has done so far looks good, and the plans sound equally good, so perhaps everyone should wait to see how this car progresses? From what he has written, it sounds like it is going to have a pretty amazing interior!

TBH Danny Dub didn't ask for any comments about the car so i don't know why anyone is posting their opinion about it, yeah it's always nice to hear that someone likes the look of your car but if there isn't any request for opinions i don't see the point in posting negative remarks. IMO the pictures of it show it in a good standard but it'd be good to see some proper pictures of the outside. And Dannydub if the car in your avatar is/was your's then i'm sure this one will look Mint once you've put your own touches on it.
