Hello,

I need to remove the lower driver side dash trim. I undid the obvious screws and could get the black bit off above the pedals but I need to get the section above that off. I undid 6-7 screws in total but it wouldn't budge. I had to stop as it was raining and I had the doors open but if anyone that's removed these could give some advice that'd be great.

Removing

– Release steering wheel height adjustment -1-.

– Move steering wheel to highest position.

– Remove bolts -arrows-.

– Take off lower steering column switch trim -2-.

– Remove bolt -1-.

– Take off cover -2-.

– Remove screws (6 in total) -arrows-.

– Remove driver's side storage compartment -3-.

Installing

– Installation is carried out in reverse order of removal

I put the 3 screws in from the ignition surround (after leaving them out from when I replaced the wiper stalk), then removed all screws apart from the one at the far right in image 3. Ah well I was almost there - will try again tomorrow. Wouldn't have thought to release the height adjustment though.
