have found something similar on GSF but read a post with different part number. does GSF use their own?

found on one VW herritage but is £70!!!

its a 1043cc Breadvan, 1990 with Weber TLA. anyone help with links or recommend a good website.

Dont make it too tight and tighten the nuts progressively

Just a little more than "a nip up" will do, if the torque is uneven or too much they tend to tear

Not at all.

The tapped holes for the mounting studs were'nt deep enough.

Second one was just 'nipped up' and the rubber was of such poor quality it peeled back.

Every time I got an apology and replacement due to poor quality.

if they arent deep enough use a washer under the bolt. simples really lol

Not really, the holes are coutersunk so they need to sit below the Weber adapter plate so the carb can sit flush. Ended up trimming the bolts down second time around. After that I managed to find a decent brand that actually fitted properly.
