Just got a phonecall from the garage thats supposed to be fixing my car and I've been told it needs a replacement gearbox so it will need to be trailored away by the buyer.

Mileage: 81k on shell, 52k on engine

MOT: November '11

Good points: I loved this car ever since i bought it, and now its come to the time to pass her to on a fellow dubber so she can be finished off properly. 16v rear bumper, rear wiper blank, euro spec 16v rear light, new seal on aerial base, new number plates (from VW) clear indicators, smoked side repeaters, 'flyeyes' tinting film over front lights, debadged grille with volkswagen badge, New aero wipers, pass side delocked handle, Rightclick remote central locking kit (not fitted), JL Audio 12" sub with amp, new front bumper grill (also have another 8v bumper I'm prepping for smoothing which can be thrown in) 16v alloys with 3 new Ovation 185 55 14's and one continental, tracking done on friday before MOT, I have all the history and receipts since I've owned the car, and even have the FSH from the old engine. 16v doorcards, chrome door handles, new kenwood headunit, mk5 gearknob, mk5 doorpins, retrimmed (by me) suede black material all inside on pillars roof lining etc... I also have two ET23 teledials which can come with the sale for a little extra. I do have all the orignal spares aswell (8v rear bumper, standard shocks & Springs etc...) Before the weather got so shocking it was washed, waxed, polished, and then gloss protected every week (sometimes twice ) so its been well looked after.

Bad points: Bodywork in places, advisory from mot on rear brake hoses (can be replaced before sale if you wish) Reason for the new engine was the piston rings went on the old one and wasnt running anywhere near its best, now the new engine has been fitted (by me and a mate for whom works at a garage full time and can guarentee his work is good) Since the new engine has been fitted she runs perfectly! Smooth and low is the way to go. Also at the moment it nees a new battery, and a new backbox s in its current state it can be bought for £1000 or you can wait a few weeks (as I'm skint) til I've replaced the relevant parts.

This is a nice looked after car, nice lad, not your type who says somethings looked after whilst ragging the life out of it everywhere. Good foundation for someone here guys, good luck with the sale mate
