i found out the french way of changing an alternator belt which apparently involves taking out the headlight, removing an engine mount and jacking the engine out of the bay for better access.

the non french way is with two 13mm spanners and a fuck off screw-driver

jack up the engine, complete jokers

Thats a bit harsh on the guy isnt it?? I have read this forum quite alot and as soon as a car is posted up by a new member that isnt quite to the taste of most (EG bodykit etc) then everyone just lays in with the insults. I think that 59bhp is just doing the same but to a car that (for some reason) people like.

I agree with 59bhp and MikeT though the car is a bit pointless looked quite shiny in some of the first pics.

No man I'm not angry cos he doesnt like the car, thats fine. But he couldve just said it wasnt his thing. Hes being a complete dick about it imo and laying into walshc with the insults, he probly doesnt even know the guy.

I never just lay into anyones car with insults, even if its really bad in my opinion. I say its not my thing but if they like it its fine (because, yknow, thats what modifying is ABOUT after all but some people forget that), and maybe suggest some stuff they could change. 59bhp just started slagging the car, and its owner, and trying to get everyone else to do the same.
