I had an idea of putting my new 2nd hand 14x6 gti steelies with 185/60 tyres on tonight at about half 6 ish before heading out to the manc meet, thinking theyll just go on and everything will be schwibbidy

It scrubbed like a bitch so i had to raise it, gutted. Luckily i had the adjuster rings in the boot with me (i had to drive 5 mins to an underground carpark to get out of the rain), so only took about 45 mins to get take of the rear suspension and refit them, and then raise the fronts

I'm going to grind the arches away tomorrow and bring it back down to earth :-D

A few pics i took of it at the meet, far far far too high, and it still scrubs the arches when turning

Got a bit carried away and took an arty pic of a nova oh well

I'm going to spray the wheels black tomorrow too

i got my mini g60s too, I'm gonna spray them black too, thinking of doing a green pinstripe round the outside. grind the living shit out of those arches boy

Dude, most Vauxhall engines are pretty much direct bolt on its crazy, the guys making them deffo thought of the futre "tinker-ers" when designing them

Its a shitty 1.2 carb thats in now, slow as shit
