mk3 cl gt conversion

Hello i am regretting to say i am selling up the polo to move onto bigger and better thing's

i bought the cl about a year ago after putting my gt into a curb which bent the chassis so was dead in my eye's this is the list i have done to the cl;THE GOOD

The rear axel off the gt with arb and the gt rear drum's.

i lowered it 60/60 on the phil j kit with new top mount's

put the gt seats with the black door card's

a stealth parcel shelf with kenwood 6x9's

a blapunkt cd player with mp3 cable in the glove box ready to plug in

upgraded front blapunkt speakers

mounteny steering wheel and boss with horn mounted on the dash because the wrong boss is on it so the contacts for the horn don't meet so re wired the horn to next to the rear heated window switch.

Gt clock's with 116000 on the clock this is a few thousand more than the gt engine has done as i put the clocks in the cl b4 i put the gt engine in.

now for the engine;

i took the engine out of my old Gt which was fine except the bent/cracked chassis of corse and changed these parts

new headgasket

valve stem seals

cambelt

auxiliry belt

waterpump

inlet/exhaust gasket's

alloy rocker cover + new gasket

clutch

adjustable clutch cable

release bearing

selector seal

once i had done all of this work on the gt engine i dropped it in my cl 3 month's from now.

also i have the mk4 indianapolis wheels on with a full set of uniroyal rainsport tyre's that i just purchased 1 month ago which set me back £180 for the tyre's well worth it though (shithot in the wet).

The paint work is in great condition i got all the dent's removed off the dent man at my work 6 month's ago until i got a few unrespectfull door ding's from some c**t recentally. For the past year I've kept the car in my garage every night.

The Bad

I got the car set up at a company in congelton near me once i got the GT in and yeah it run's great just when it's cold it run's a bit rough it soon heat's up though and doesn't miss a beat.

Also there is a slight oil leak coming from the camshaft seal bearing which i have the part in my tool box ready to go on but have been too lazy too fit it so this come's with the sale but otherwise if u carn't be bothered either u just need too top the oil up every month or so just to make sure.

I also have some spare parts that come with the car(or iam willing to sell to anybody separately if u make me an offer) I've got a spare; starter motor, alternator an injector rail with the sleeve's and jacket's because the rail i have on doesn't have any sleeve's or jacket's and are tapping a slight bit. the black board bonnet also as you can see in the pictures.

All together the car is very clean inside and out and also has the power and fun of a Gt and that cherry bomb back box sound's very nice.
