Clear side repeators would look nice........

get some decent size tyres and drop it a good 60mm or so!

running 165/50s dunno how low its down though! meant to be 40mm

Thanks people for all the comments, the tyres are not being used atm, so thanks for noticing them the wrong way round lol!. Going to look into lowering it with springs and not decided on the wheels yet, I'm defiantly not a chav but I think the wheels look ok, might change the center caps or something, can i do that?

Going to change the interior defiantly at some point and possibly get a nice sounding back box.

Going to put chrome door inserts and if I dont like, eh i will just change them back.

Well i did lol but its the soft springs that are causing the scrubing.

GT/G40 arches are a must and chrome inserts.

Ok I've been looking into it over the weekend and me and my dad are unsure what would be best.

These lowering springs where do i get them from, How easy are they to fit and will it stop the 195/50 tyres from rubbing completely? Will it still rub, if so i will need to get spacers and extended wheel nuts, so are the wheel nuts on golfs longer?

I'm also going to get a nice back box in the next month or so.

The final question is, can i change the center caps on the alloys? and where can i get these from? (will make them look better) hopefully VW ones?

Philj is the best place to get springs!

why would u get spacers this would bring your wheels out more and scrub more!

the tyres you have don't look that big so i reckon u can just get it lowered with no problems!!!

See the problem is that the wheel are touching the the suspension at the back, so by using the springs this will stop them touching right...? (sorry)

Thats why were thinking about spacers so it gives a gap??

BBS 14x6.5 and thats on 80/60 suspension kit from Phil J, but its actually bout 80/90-100

Lose the wheels mate in my honest opinion.

Yeah had an extremely long chat and I'm looking into getting rid of the wheels now, two much hassle.....

So lol if anyone has alloys with brand new tyers on them for around £200-£250 I might be interested just got to sort everything out.

i reken the chrome handle stuff would work with silver rims, but if you gonna have black rims, i say stick to black handle inserts.

i got 195/45/15 tryes on black n red rims.....think black and red is a perfect combo lol thats why i stuck to it.

down 60 on front and about 50 ish on back ...i think get a bit of scrubbing but its all good.

Looks times better already IMO, there's a reason why ronals are scene, and thats cos they look fapping good!

Get some clear side indi's to match your fronts, and it'll be well on its way especially once its low
