its 79k, read the question? there is no way that is possible! Thats a good 56k a year! 155 miles a day!!!!!

It's more than possible if it was a taxi.

Though that's confusing. Description says this:

Honda Accord 2 Litre. 790,000 miles on the clock.

And then question/answer says this:

A: 79,000. I will amend!! Cheers

There was once an old mercedes that went round the clock!

Yes a million miles

I used to do that easily a year or so ago when I was with the ex. To work and back everyday was a 75-80 mile round trip and then to hers and back was another 80 odd miles. I spent a fortune in petrol though haha.

If that Honda has done 790,000 miles it would be interesting to know how much petrol it has consumed over the years

i think its easily possible. i did nearly 40k last year and i only live 3 miles from my work :D

It is crazy how it racks up sometimes

I've had my valver not even 2 weeks now and I've done 2K in it!

Mine is N reg and doesn't even have 79k

there was that diesel jetta that a bloke done 500k in or something and won a new car from VW!!!

Mine is N reg and doesn't even have 79k

Mines an R reg and doesn't even have 25k! lol.

The owner of my local pub has an F-reg MK2 golf gti with just over 350,000, it's quite clean as well! Thats the most i've ever seen

my dads a black cab driver in london and his is into the 700,000 range.thats an m reg too

A volvo 850 at the garage the other day had done 300k and was still going strong!

Isn't the record held by a CRV for doing the most miles without a service? (slightly off topic)

^^most miles with out a service?? how many miles was that?

That's nothing compared to the Volvo P1800 which has done 2.4 million (i think) miles, and has only had one engine rebuild.

Its about 20 mins from me, shall i go and view it

  • 3 weeks later...

i remember we had a 2004 vauxhall 1.9 diesel combo van that had done nearly 340,000. we had it in for MoT and i couldnt believe it lol

i know of a focus tdi that's done over 500k, that's with a 50 mile trip with the bottom rad hose missing! still couldnt kill it.
