1.4 16v rear axel

As the title says really guys

I'm getting my loan for supercharger conversion soon and i really want my car to be able to stop before i make it go so id like to fit the rear axel off a 1.4 16v on a 1.6 CL 8v anyone know if it will fit? and if so what else do i need to do in the process?

better off getting a gti or tdi rear beam it will have discs lol valver rear discs are very rare...

Will the TDI or GTI rear axel fit directly? i thought the TDI's were like 99> would that still fit?

Yes that should fit!

Wait a minute, buy the sounds of your post! Are you supercharging a 1.6 8v or is that your base car but using a differant engine?

The only TDI's i can find are the 1.4 TDI which looks to be a 2001 model is this gonna fit? if so whats the work involved to put it on.

dont see why it wouldnt, the mk5 (6N2) is only a facelifted mk4 (6n) most of the mechanicals are pretty much the same
