We have to pay for them in our tax, pay for mp's to drive and own big cars in tax (o i am an MP please pay my extortionate cost of living) pay for road tax in tax (lets go for a drive o my suspensions has just collapse that was a big pothole will I get taxed for this no I just have to pay VAT for the repair)

The price of a barrel of oil in dollars has gone up but also the exchange rate has changed witch means the price when it gets to us should be the same as it was a year ago (its like the gas and electric company's lets charge them as much as we can for it because they can't do anything about it) o then they can put so tax in there somewhere

People probably wouldn't feel as hard done by if they were given a realistic alternative to the car (or would they...some car drivers are quite blinkered/ lazy) or their money was visibly seen being spent on something worth while which was related to transport. .

Edit: It's not the general public running the army tanks which require a fuel tanker to drive 200 metres behind, the government are the ones driving the V8 jeeps for army use, they're the ones using helicopters daily to train soldiers...... we all pay our taxes.... then they charge US, THE PUBLIC more?

Also why is none of the technology used in buses going towards cars or that, these electric motors on some of the new buses are saving gallons of petrol daily (in respect to buses driving a few hundred miles a day)!!

I am getting a extremely worried about the prices so rapidly increasing. £60 quid of V-power into a VR6 and then having to feather foot it constantly is nooooo fun! Considering how cheap fuel is in alot of other european countries etc and of course america (pricks) why are we paying such huge taxes! One of the most powerful nations in the world with huge north sea oil reserves of our own? but we still pay one of the highest rates for petrol. Poor economical running of the country in my oppinion.

But in all fairnes, i doubt there would be much difference in whatever party was voted in. I'm sorry to say it, or actually i'm not.....would be a hell of a lot more beneficial to scotland, BUT Scottish independance FTW!!!!
