Can anyone tell me exactly what's needed by way of chopping and welding? They're apparently wider, so the door pocket has to be modded or come off. Is the front central slot the same fitting but the rear legs need to come closer together? Does the fact that they're wider make it look cramped in there?

right...I've got mk3 golf seats in my mk2 golf

assuming mk2 golf/polo mounts are the same....i had to cut off the outer rear leg and move it in about 2 " and reweld it, needs to be offered up to the car and marked really

the center mount etc is all the same...they do have a big side pocket, it clears the golf but i dunno on a polo

unless you find mk3 recaros they're not overly comfortable anyway....id find some clean std ones and fit a waeco heated seat kit lol
