Coileys on at last.

Featured Replies

Finally got round to fitting my coilovers today and this is the result, only went 60mm down for now, as its the first low car i've had and i didn't want to go scraping my undercarage off everywhere i went.

Anyways heres the pics, please ignore the dirt and dodgy rims

Also took the mudflaps off.

Will get some better pics once i've cleaned it and got the alloys back on 8-)

I'll be getting new plates soon as my front ones cracked :-(

Had the rims on the car before but took them off for the mot (that was in october :ninja: ) and havn't bothered putting them back on yet :paranoid:

Heres how it looked though.

Why do you have a reflector on your rear bumper?

looks good, why did you need to take the rims off for an MOT? bald tires?

new tyres then...the tread them is huuuge!

looks good now mate, just think it needs to go a tad lower at the front 8-)

Swapped them for the standard ones for the mot mainly because i don't trust how they would handle them and didn't want them damaged, reflectors are there because the mot tester wouldn't pass it without them

You don't trust how they would handle them, damn your paranoid mate lol!

And the MOT tester wouldn't pass your car without a reflector on the rear bumper?! name one car that comes with a reflector on the rear as standard?!?!

All cars have some sort of reflector in the rear lights but unfortunatly mine don't

And I'm paranoid about my rims mainly because last time a mechanic got his mits on them one of them got scuffed to fook and had to be repolished :-(

Anywho wheels will be back on as soon we get some sun :-D

EDIT: Found this.

Rear reflectors

There must be two reflectors fitted reasonably symmetrically, securely attached and not obscured.

* Must be fitted to all vehicles first used on or after 1st April 1986, but if fitted, must be tested.

** Must be fitted to all vehicles first used on or after 1st April 1980.
