Featured Replies

Just thought i'd let you know that i just bought a 2 tonne trolley jack from Aldi (in Norwich, not sure about res of country though) for £9.99

Seems to be pretty good quality, not bad price either methinks.

Apparently theyve got them up here too. I need to get meself one when i get a spare tenner.

How low is minimum height?

I'm fed up with driving up a ramp before I can even fit the trolley jack underneath the jacking point.

I suppose I need to save up for this Clarke low entry jack

I`ll be going down aldi tomorrow to buy myself one of those!

The axle stands are good stuff, they had exactly the same ones in Lidl a while back

Yeah I picked up one of them when they had them, they're not bad at all for a tenner, even still works

While on bargain tools, Screwfix are still doing a perfectly adequate 1/2" torque wrench for £12.49!

well, i can't get it under my car, i have to use the scissor jack to start with, but it makes putting it on stands easir.

I'll have a look in the li'l booklet that came with it and seeif it says, or i'll go measure it tomorrow.

wish I had known about this when I got my trolley jack lol

doubt this one will lift a landy up like mine though :p

That's not fair I've never heard of these shops in N.Ireland. Do they deliver? lol

I bought one. Won't fit under my car :(

I bought a couple. Put one in the back of the garage. Its not like they go off or anything. Never hurts to have one spare :D

That took me a while

if they have the axel stands and wheel chucks for £5 aswell get them

mine are a godsend

Got one of these jacks a few weeks ago, not christened it yet though! I want the stands with chocks but I really don't need another pair, and bricks will do for now. They have quite a lot of stuff there actually, had some of those bent ring spanners but they had all gone by the time I went to buy them :(

if its anything like the cheap halfords ones it will bend even with just a polo.

i bought a super low one from costco, 3tonne, lifts the arse of the merc no worries - that was only £70.

when did the deal for the jack come out? i was gona go 2nite to look for one....

A friend picked up a dirty cheap air gun form there the other day 8-)

Polo suspension fitting dreams have come true ! lmao
